Inspired by late 14th-century fashion, this long, full gown features a deep, royal blue velvet accented with silver-colored trim & back lacing. The back of the gown laces up and features a fold-over flap under the lacing. The sleeves have satin-lined tippets hanging down from the upper arm and a more fitted lower arm. The waist is fitted and flares out from the hips in a voluminous skirt that drapes beautifully. The velvet of the dress is a regular, smooth velvet (NOT crushed or panne velvet).
Measurements: This gown is somewhat flexible in terms of sizing: it is very acceptable to wear a medieval-style belt with it (hanging down from the hips in a V shape).
